Monday Madness
1. Do you prefer to be out in the sun or in the shade? Shade
2. Regarding the walls in your house, do you prefer neutral colors or bright colors? I have neutral, but it might be nice to mix it up and have some bright colors. I've seen a dark red ceiling before and it looked really great.
3. When hanging pictures on your walls, do you like things symmetric or asymmetric? Symmetric
4. How about where you'd like to live; country or city? Country, although I'd like to have the convenience of access to stores, etc.
5. Your blog; Blogger, Blogdrive, Blog-City, or another one altogether? Another one...
6. Email; Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, or other? Yahoo
7. Air conditioning or just a fan when it's hot at night? Both!
8. Dinner; seafood or steak? Seafood
9. Your all-time favorite music media; CD's, cassette tapes, or vinyl (or 8-tracks)? I always like vinyl, but prefer CD's now.
10. When learning a new software program, do you find it easier to follow a book or an online tutorial? Online tutorial, but I do like to have a book for easy reference.
Monday Madness
I'm a little late getting to this one, since I just returned from a great vacation in Missouri with DJ!
1. I like my job. True, I'm a stay at home wife.
2. I find time to 'smell the flowers' so to speak. Not sure about this one. The day goes by too fast.
3. I have no problem thinking of things to write about in my blog. False
4. 'Organization' is my middle name! HA HA HA!
5. If 'Plan A' doesn't work, there's always a 'Plan B.' True
6. I adjust easily to new surroundings. False, takes me a few months.
7. I'd rather work 'behind the scenes' than 'in the spotlight.' True
8. I'm happy where I am, at this point in my life. True
9. I can wake up in the morning without an alarm clock. False
10. I can function pretty well on less than 8 hours of sleep. True

Monday Madness
1. I usually clean my house about once a week.
2. My favorite Sunday night program to watch on television is...you mean there are TV shows on Sunday nights?
3. Monday morning I usually waking up thinking, "Should I exercise this morning or not?"
4. To wind down at the end of a busy day, I like to play games at Pogo.com.
5. I try not to call anyone on the phone until after 9:00 a.m.
6. And I NEVER call anyone after 10:00pm.
7. When I don't have to get up to go to work or school, I sleep in until 8:30 (this is every day for me.)
8. I have three telephones in my house, plus 2 cell phones.
9. I usually answer the phone on the second ring.
10. When I know I should be sleeping, but am having a hard time falling asleep, I usually just lay there... however, if it goes on more than an hour, I'll get up and read a magazine or book.

Temporary Houseguest
It looks like our little visitor, (still don't know her name,) will be staying with us for a week. Her owner (we finally caught up with him,) asked us to watch her while he goes to Utah for a funeral. So here's hoping she allows us to sleep this week! LOL!

Her name is Sammy. Spoke with people who originally found her and they had named her. Eerily enough, that's the name Gary thought of when he was thinking of a name for her.

Look What We Found....
...on our doorstep. We are definitely not in the immediate market for a puppy, but she was running around our yard when we returned from our day in town. She is barely weaned I think, and we do know who's yard she belongs in, but they aren't home. Don't know if they are gone for the whole weekend, but we will check again tomorrow. When we checked out her yard, there are three large, contented-looking cats lounging around there. We found where the puppy got out and since she was very muddy (I gave her a bath,) figured she "enjoyed" the mud puddle before it dried up. :)
